Over the past 12 years working as an RN in the tri-county area, I have seen a tremendous disparity between the needs of our elderly and the care they receive. Despite the various attempts of the healthcare industry to improve quality of care and reduce care fragmentation, the healthcare challenges are still very real to those facing the effects of aging.

Many times the holistic approach of the health care providers gets lost in the maze of the healthcare system. They often become accustomed to the medical environment and do not see the personal needs of the client. The need for happiness, meaningful relationships, life purpose and maintaining daily activities, despite the illness or aging, are critical elements that often influence the patient’s physical health.

Therefore, I decided to build a care team from scratch. My goal is to find the best caregivers in the area and provide them with a meaningful place to work, offer the support and education needed in order to equip the caregivers with the ability to provide exceptional care.
